OUR MISSION
We are a non-profit civil organization that promotes social participation in order to take advantage of food products that can no longer be sold. We provide nutritional donations to people suffering in poverty, while encouraging good eating habits in our beneficiaries in the state of Yucatan.
VISION
Being recognized by the Yucatecan society as the most efficient, trustworthy and professional medium to offer food to those in need, as well as supporting nutritional education.

WHO DO WE HELP?
All the communities who want to become one of the Food Bank’s beneficiaries and form part of the institution are able to receive a nutritional package every 15 days, if they meet the requirements.
Communities
Institutions
All institutions who want to become a beneficiary need to be a civil or religious association and agree with SEDESOL. Some institutions are provided with another form of income, while we only serve those who have a greater need for our support.
Collaborators
The collaborators are people who live in the communities receiving aid, who also are eligible for help from the Food Bank. They are offered nutritional packages of food in exchange for work, such as selecting fruits and vegetables, cleaning the installations, or loading and unloading the products we receive daily.
